Picked up 4 x 265/70/17 BFG AT in Broome yesterday for $370 each. Pretty happy considering the price at home (Karratha) was $477 each!.

Melbourne prices - Tyresplus North Melbourne BFG A/T $366 ea fitted, balanced etc. They said they are the distributor and will beat any written quote. Also, my car is leased through Leaseplan and apparently they get them even cheaper than that. Interesting to note, and good news!

I just booked the Prado in for tomorrow morning for 5 new BFG A/Ts !! Will be glad to get rid of the stock grandtreks.

Re the ebay BF's, I also seen around the $300 and even a bit lower, and I wondered if you need to be careful with diferent load ratings or Light Truck (LT) classifcations or anything else that could trigger a lower price, or are all the BF A/T's in 265/65/17 sizing all the same?

I think some people get stung with some brands having different ratings and they don't understand what they are buying, particularly with variations between Light Truck (LT) and passenger construction, but not sure if these BF's fall into this category or not.

Queried F&B pricing and it was $15 per tyre. All up $304 per tyre is a great price though.

Ended up with BFG AT 265/65/17 LT for $320 F&B. All up $1650 with wheel alignment from JAX in Caulfield South. Good service and a reasonable price.

Was looking at AT3's for $300 F&B from another dealer but they couldn't get supply at that price. Also JAX had D694LT 265/65/17's at just under $300 F&B but I've used BFG's before on the trips I intend to do in the next 12 months and didn't have any problems. In the end, after much procrastinating, I ended up going with what I knew!

Price just one 265/65/R17 at Jax Launceston yesterday and it was $360 fitted.
