This is the only controlled shootout I have found of A/T or M/T for that matter tyres: http://4wdmonthly.com.au/reviews/tips/tyres.php
(also does anyone know if it's actually the Dick Cepek or Mickey T FC-II they are reviewing??)
On a side note if anyone knows of anymore please post a linky?
Now the main thing, the winner of that shootout was the Pirelli Scorpion A/T, seems like a pretty good allrounder...
The issue is that when I went around tyre shops looking to buy a set of these shoes they all seemed to think I must be mad thinking the ATRs are good offroad, then I realised that there's and extra R on there
(Road?)
So, do these tyres even exist anymore? If so any ideas of where to find them in perth?
Alternatively if they are discontinued, what are peoples experiences with those Kumho Road Ventures, I can't find anything on here by searching...
Speaking of alternatives, just how bad are the BFG A/Ts on road, and how badly do they chip/cut offroad?
The main use is onroad but we want to get some decent offroad tyres as we want to get more into offroading... (currently haven't done anything serious, since we have always ended up going alone...)
