Have a look at the yellow Roadsafe ones a few posts up SOL. I've been trying to get in touch with the Roadsafe rep to clear up compatability with my TJM bar; that photo shows them on an ARB one. They are ~$150 a set though, I thought the Tow Hooks may be a cheaper alternative.

The benefit of the plate style is use with bow shackles, tow hooks wouldn't work too well with them due to the risk of them slipping off.

Fido666, Thanks for that. For some reason I thought they were 120 not 150.

Nest question for the folks that manufacture items. Below are the photos of my rear. Their is no room for a hook style point on the right.
So my question is! Could I get two plates cut to fit the end of the tow bar to extend straight out from the end to attach shackles to? There are numerous bolts there. Or would the loading be to much for the bar? Hope this makes sense.

Back on Pg5, post #47 of this thread I linked to some recovery points I found on eBay and was advised these were rear points by fellow PPers. I've tried to get confirmation from the seller but so far zip, nada, nothing has come back.

Thanks Hutch, I was actually replying to Sol's query not lamenting the fact I'm still none the wiser. Let me know when you get yours sorted.

I'm going to be really dumb here and ask if these tow hooks are suitable as recovery points? Where would they normally attach? They had a cheaper chrome one for $7.99 but I can't find this on the website.
Short answer is yes they are suitable, I have 4 of these fitted to my rig, one on each corner. Fitting them is not quits as straight forward though, details are in my rig build.

              Cheers Andrew

I had a look at your rig build AJ but I think the mount points on the 150 are not the same.

Not sure, haven't spent much time checking out the 150 chassis.

I was speaking to a sales guy at TJM today and he said I shouldn't try self-installing the Roadsafe recovery points because I have KDSS. Now I don't profess to understand the full workings of KDSS but I struggle to see how this affects the recovery points.

The KDSS suspension does have a bit more kit down underneath at the front, not sure how it affects fitment.

Another place I contacted about these points didn't mention KDSS being a problem, I'm sure I told them I had the Kakadu.
