Make sure you have a bigger gap than 1 cm between the insert and the bar. A bit of touch up paint onto the bar, and who really notices it's there. The bottom of the grill is a bit looser, however, there are no rub marks to be seen on the grill, as the air pressure will be pushing the grill back to where it should be.

Thanks as well Yowie I will make sure the gaps are all good. I got a final quote today on T13, Air Tec snorkel and BritaX Hid spotties which came in at a decent price so in the next few weeks all will be installed.

Kakadaz, if you don't mind me asking how much for the bar and snorkel?

Thanks to everyone for the replies, its a great help.

Like Kakadaz, I have looked at every photo on here, the TJM website but haven't been able to see one fitted in the flesh. I did spend quite a while talking the TJM guys at Eastern Creek on Saturday and very sure that I will get a TJM T13 bar. To seal it, I hope to see a 150 with one fitted before I order one, probably in the next 2 months. I even spent 40 minutes searching the car parks at the Eastern Creek 4wd show for one but had no luck.

Thanks for all the comments as well, this has been helpful as I have also ordered my T13 Bullbar for my Kakadu. I have seen the bar in flesh, although the cars I have seen them on have had their bumper bars cut to fit the bar. It does raise the question if they have fixed the issues with the inserts? Mine are all getting colour coded so I am hoping it all fits nicely. What is everyones thoughts about the headlight washers? What is the best approach there, does anyone have pictures or instructions on their mods to keep their headlight washers/squirters? Is it something as well that needs to be done prior to the bullbar being installed or can it be done at later stage?

          Cheers

I think what people have been using is the squirter nozzles that typically sit up on your bonnet to spray the windscreen Tez Not the old assembly in your front bumper.
Price I got today from TJM occonner was $3800 for T13 bar installed and painted briteX Hid spotties and Airtec snorklel. I believe the bar was about $2200 the spots $1000 and $600 snorkel. Daniel and Steve up there have been very helpful. The clincher for me was that the T13 sticks out 130mm less than the ARB deluxe bar and the bar seems better shaped around the headlights.

Darren you can actually fit the original headlight washers in, the new inserts have the markings on the rear to cut it out etc however it was not documented or advertised. My infill panels (v3 I think) are the version before they changed the material and texture to allow for better painting, in this update they addressed the headlight washer issue instead of the bar drill and washer jets. I have a set of the new ones here that I have been meaning to get painted and installed from when TJM used my car (many times) for R&D, I will see if I can get a photo of the markings. I believe the issue was how to mount them once you cut it out, I will see what I can come up with if I get a chance over the weekend.

I had a look at my washers tonight Daniel and thought the same thing...cutting them in should be OK but how to physically mount the mechanisms could need some tinkering. Thanks for the very valuable imput though I've certainly learnt alot.
