I am just using the factory bars with the Rhino alloy rack as the previous post I only put my oz tent, chair, table, eg. all up it would only be about 70 kg's
-
I really liked the look of the Windcheeta rack until i seen the price, i have the Rhino Rack cage but i only use it now and again so it will do for now. Though a lower profile one could be left on...

I have the Rhino Platform Rack. It's the model before the new Pioneer version. I've used it on a few big trips over plenty of corrugations carting a spare wheel and tyre and ARB awning with no problems. Nice and low profile too!

Cheers, Sam.

These pics come from the smartbar bullbar thread. Whilst that thread is about the smartbar, notice that it is fitted with a FrontRunner Windcheetah rack. YOu can read more about these in the thread: FrontRunner Windcheetah rack. I have one of these on my 120 and will use it again on the next vehicle.

Cheers,
LFaR.

whispbar
I found them online for $299 a pair and went into roof carrier systems (in melbourne) and he matched the price for me. Great bars!!! Absolutely no noise whatsoever, shouldn't affect fuel economy either (i assume). They also don't add any extra height to the car. perfect. No i need to get an alloy rack to fit!!Originally posted by sbclover View PostBest price I have found on the s45 whispbar is OZ Nest on ebay $275+post

Don't suppose u know heavy it is and whether it's 1 or 2 person job to remove if req'd ??
Would u have the specs for it by any chance (ie: dimensions & weight carrying capacity, etc)

I'm using a Rhino Pioneer Platform rack to keep the overall height below my standard garage door. no lift kit, just upgraded springs and shocks and a Foxwing awning that just makes it it the garage.

How hard is it to remove it by yourself or is it a 2 person job? We don't havea lot of clearance to get into the Car Garage, so I've got to be mindful of what we get....
I was just thinking of getting the Rhino Replacement Roofbars (ie Remove OEM ones) and leave them fitted all the time, then either buy a rookrack that can be bolted to the Rhino Bars or make one up myself.....
Anyone using the Rhino Roofbars option where they just fit the Roofrack &/or Basket to the Rhino Bars when needed ???

Don't mind the look of that one..... What sort of $$ is on that one ??
I gather the original OEM bars are removed to fit this one...... If u want to remove that "Rack only", is that the legs and everthing or something different?

Also the spelling in my last post is atrocious, I should type so fast the iPad can't keep up and it's stupid autocorrect ruins everything.
