Tell her if you can't buy the snorkel you'll have sex with her. Works for me (with my wife that is) she would rather let me buy the part. On the other hand she uses the reverse on me.

Easy conversation - remember how we went to that wedding last month and you HAD to have a new $300 dress, new $150 shoes and a new $150 handbag to match the dress so you could fit in with all the other women who had flash new dresses, shoes and handbags... Well this is the same, something to make the Prado look pretty to fit in with all the other men who have prado's and snorkels.

If she baulks at this then remind her that you noticed the new earings and necklace that she also wore at the wedding yet never mentioned buying and she will quickly retreat and let you buy the snorkel before you start adding up the cost of the new jewelery, make-up and hairdo and see it cost 3 times the price of a new snorkel. Heck you might even get a regular upgrade path out of it... every time she HAS to have a new outfit for a do you could get a new accessory for the Prado

I used to have a unifilter in previous 4wd, what was noticeable, is how much less dust you pick up with a snorkel.
For that alone its well worth having.
stepped up the a 200 LC for towing,
but had a 2012 and 2010 150 Prado GXL auto diesel in Graphite with Bridgestone D697 A/T. Dobinson C59-300/325 and Bilsteins. Accessories : two baby seats. Sidewinder`s Dual Battery isolator and rear power outlet kit. Pirana Battery tray, Hayman Reese towbar with Toyota wiring kit and Brains`s guard.

I have come up with a plan. If I tell her I am going to do it at home over the weekend with a few beers, she may just go and book it in for me...
