It's possible to keep one seat but you will need to either fabricate a new steel bracket to suit one seat trim or cut the factory piece in half. Even then the carpet/board trim that folds up with the seats will need to be cut in half and new plugs fitted for the half to hold it in place. I was about halfway down this route (bracket welded and ready for bending) when the back was inspected by the World Manager and the decision was take both seats out. Height on top of the folded seat is an issue. Much easier this way, pity about the couple of hours lost. Ah well. Gutted the restand didn't get any further yesterday. Cut some structural ply today and made a base board roughly 975mm long and wide enough to provide a base for the side trims up to 1200 at the back. I guess much the same as others have done. I positioned the fridge and battery and built a box to house the battery, DC DC charger and changeover relay (solar in feed) and aux fuse box. Length of the board was dictated by the height of the box to house all the electrical bits. Will post some pics as I get a bit further. I am using Anderson plugs for the infeed from the main battery (manual cct breaker and 6B&S) and also solar when fitted. And the fridge supply and "engine on" trigger wire will be powerpoles. Will take a line to the voltage/voltage meter too. Space is pretty tight and I should have gone a bit wider with the box but too late now, too far done to start over. I will get the woodwork done with the electrics and then stick the carpet on. Planning on using the M8 seat bolt holes to keep it all in place. Need a custom battery tie down as the standard Piranha system won't fit (I said space was tight!). The DC DC charger will be on a hinged lid on top. Top and sides ventilated. Wired as per Redarcs suggested arrangement.

Thanks Jayden.
I am interested to read and answer to mjrandom's question. Has anyone removed just one seat for a fridge?

Thanks for that Rhyzz. I might also look at removing the left third row seat.

With mine the false floor takes up the whole "boot", however you could only make the floor half width and only bolt to one side.Originally posted by stevep84 View PostCheers guys.
Ryzz do you still have use of one of the rear seats. I would like to still be able to use one if required.

Spend your money on a MSA drop fridge slide if your going to get draws in the future. They are the duck guts. Cheers
