Wire to windscreen mounted Navman

There is a wired up but unused plug behind the switch panel below the start button, it's taped back to the harness. Not sure what it is used for in other vehicles but pretty sure one of the wires would be ignition switched. This is where I pulled power for the dash lights of my contura rockers that are in the 3 switch blanks.

Hi Folks
I mounted ours the same as Crisp Image and picked up the power from lighter.Because of transport rule they can't be mounted in the centre of screen above dash height they have to be mounted next to A pillar but they don't take into account the airbag going off and you end up wearing the thing in the face. Only problem sticking to the side panel I had a reaction with the paint and it kept falling off taking the paint with it so I bit the bullet and screwed it on.The panel was stuffed anyway. Must be too much alcohol in my saliva.
