  • Scratches on New Rhino Rack (cross bars)

Opened up the package and tried assemble them and noticed and there are a few scratches on them.
Is it to be expected? IMO - I don't expected any scratches on the any brand new shiny things.

As D4D said, you can always ask your supplier about it if your not happy.

On a side note, when posting images with postimage if you use the URL marked thumbnails for forum (1) you will get a thumbnail picture like below, gives people a better cahnce to decide if they want the full picture or not.

Agree completely, I know these will probably end up scratched anyway but when I pay for a NEW item, I expect it to be in NEW condition regardless of how minor a fault may be.

On a side note, if you don't have any luck dealing with the shop you purchased from (who are the ones responsible for rectifying the fault to your satisfaction under the consumer protection laws) contact rhino directly as they are generally pretty good in dealing with problems like this.
