Not on my Prado, but I put a Webasto sunroof in my old Commodore. Sold the car, but in the 4 years I had it, no issues. Check out the installer for a good job. The place in Perth that did mine does lots of per delivery jobs on new cars. To be honest, after the first few years, never used it anymore.

Give Doyles a call.

I called them on Friday and they gave me a quote for 2.5K with 3 years warranty.

The offered one is INTEGRATED S800. they told it is the one for Prado.

They are telling nothing to worry. "Sunroof will increase value on your car. many dealers are doing from them.. come and check it."

After seeing others' concerns I am also bit worried to make a hole in the roof.

I am planning to keep this car as long as I can..so resale value is not a problem. the only thing more we may need in our car is sunroof.

my only concern about the structure and safety.

Since I am having very small babies (4 months old) there is any problem when we open the sunroof. The additional air circulation will create any problems? So is it better to wait for them to reach at least two years of age?

Of course they will tells you that it adds value, they want your $$$. As far as babies go probably the only issue would be when you have it slid back open the sun maybe coming in on them ?? Other then that no issues, they may actually enjoy looking up and out although at the moment they would still be facing backwards looking up at the rear grab handles lol. If you really want one then go for it. We all like different things I'm not a fan of them but that's me. I really only used mine on hit days I would tilt it up and slide the internal cover almost closed but this was to let the heat out when I was parked at work. Going down the freeway at 110 k with it open would give me the shits with the wind noise and this was a factory roof with the pop up deflector which was all factory fitted in my grande.... Meant to say I'd do a google and make sure there is no negative feedback out there work before I would let them cut a gaping hole through my car.... Cheers Steve
