I've looked and looked but I can't find any pics of it set up! Unfortunately it's not in the car at the moment so I cant take a picture of it set up.
Heres a pic of our drawer set up with a little half cargo barrier on top. The water tank is bolted to the front of the unit and sits just behind the center seats. They can be reclined slightly to a normal seating position and there is enough room to store small items behind.

You can just see the tank behind the fridge, and the outlet hose is to the left of the fridge. It is long enough to reach out past the bumper and has a tap on the end. The filler is on top of the tank on the left side of the car and is about 50mm wide. You've just gotta keep an eye on the water level when filling up otherwise you get a wet seat and carpet(yes I know!)

I had one in the 120 it was from RV accessories but I recently sold it as it took up too much room and to fit fridge cargo barrier etc was a pain in the arse. I'm just going to settle for water bladders on rear floor behind driver n passengers seat out if the way and the 5 year old is still small enough so don't need the foot room as with larger kids plus weight is down nice n low...... Wow thank heaps guys - the vertical tanks are a very neat solution, with a few minor issues...
Whitey1 - How big is your fridge in that pic? i have a 60lt Engel and it just fits now? Should still fit right?
Steve M - Im not a big an of water bladders in general... plus i need the space for 2 dogs... but nice looking tank you had.. wish you hadnt sold it!
Ant_1984 - I notice you have straps?? did you add them in? or did they come with the tank? Very neat set up.. me likey.. hmmm might copy...

The fridge in that photo is only a 40lt but that normally resides in the camper as a freezer. We've usually got a 50 lt waeco in there so not sure the size difference between that and an engel.
I just went out to the shed and measured the unit for you, it's 800mm deep(front to back). This is in a 120 series though, not sure what difference it makes.

I added the straps. You can also put straps on the handles that were for to climb in the back.

                  Water Tanks..!

Ok Peeps Finnaly made a choice on water tank and then went out and got some yesterday after trying a couple of options... thanks to oposite lock that let me have a crack a few of these options!

So i tried the vertical tank first with the curved cut outs - and for me it didnt sit quite right... it wobbled around due to the back rest of hte 2nd row seats not "clicking" vertical... and it was a 53lt tank..... Also t my 60lt engle frigde would sit where i want it too with the bigger tank.

I tired the slightly smaller 42 lt tank that can be used as either vertical or horizantal.. and it fit very nciely... and also allowed be to fit in the floor tank between the 1st and 2nd row seats.

All up around $440 bucks with the vertical tank filler kit and hose kit for 1 tank.. Very happy! Photos attached! And thanks for all your help PP Members!!
Ill let you all know how it goes after chritmas when i give em a test run!

Floor was about 195 - but make sure you have the hose kit for it which is around $25 bucks - or you can make your own

                        hey all

instead of having the tank like you have drawn and taking up all the space have you not thought about taking the rear seats
out and placing a tank in there.
there is a guy over in Brisbane
that custom makes tanks call abbertanks google him I am sure he can help

                          Hi Alexchatz
Does the floor one have baffles in it?
How have you found it when driving and not full does the water slosh around and become annoying?
This option allows for a low centre of gravity which IMO is important.

                            Hey Fabes et all
The floor tank does not has a baffle in it it does however have a small " |___----___| " in it - if that makes sense.. which was a little annoying cuase when the water leveled itself out over the hump i had to lift one side to get the water over the hump...

Driving 3/4 1/2 1/4 full - both tanks slosh around abit. but nothing too anoying in my optiion.... considering i tested both tanks out this chirstmas camping at the Otways - they were well worth the buy. I didnt have to go into town at all for a refill on a 5 day stay.

i used the water for cleaning dishes etc, showering everynight - i decanterd into a 20l plastic drum which sat infront of the fire heating up for the nights shower, then pluged in the 12v shover into my ciggy light and off i went! HOT SHOWER... for me and the misses.. and i reckon i has enough water left for at least another night if not two....

                            Well worth it!

My only question is... how to i store the water tanks now? Should i store them with water in it or empty?

Steve - i think you may be able to get the vertical tank in... the tank i have is pretty thin, and you move the seats forward to get it in... ? have a go at your nearest oppostie lock?

Depends on what you would want to spend of course, but if you went to a plastic welding mob you could get a better formed tank so you don't get left with annoying wasted space. By that I mean form it around the wheel arches and right up to the door. I liked the ORS ones, but damn they are expensive.

I have a kaymar bar with tire and 2 jerry holders, so I just use 1 or 2 water containers with taps installed. The jerry holders conveniently have holes in the sides so the containers can be slipped in with the tap already in place.
