      I prefer the look of colour coded bars, but I think its probably only practical on the darker cars. Anything with lighter paint will show up the stone chips too easily.

        Mondo check out SOL's build, he has a colour coded Sahara bar on his silver shorty. Looks fabulous. Might give you an idea anyway.

            If I had my time again I would keep it black

              I've got a 2010 GXL in Silver Pearl and wouldnt have it any other way...Looks the goods, and does the job...Go the silver and stay back from the car in front

                Go for colour coded. It doesn't go dull and chalky like the unpainted ones and is easier to clean. Looks great even with the chips.

                        I think its all about looks...My white Prado would look less better (perfect england for me) with a black bull bar - something to do with the amount of black at the front I think. The colour coded was always the way to go. That said, a white hilux looks good with a black bar...

                          I agree.

                          I wouldn't have a black bar on my white Prado for quids, the white just looks so much better to me it's not funny. But I can't see myself painting the bullbar white on my white 79 Cruiser, the black bar really suits that.

                              Don't colour code - worst decision I made. They certainly look the goods when new but after a few years and a few stone chips they look sh.ithouse!
