RJ-45 Extension (UHF Mic Extension)

Does anyone know where I can pick up an RJ-45 extension cable (probably 2m long) that will fit into the mic. outlet on my Uniden 7700 radio?
It seems a relatively standard cable does not fit into the round outlet.



Uniden sell one on their website for $35, which is slightly ridiculous for a cable.

From memory I made one using standard plugs and sockets for my GME, sure
it is a RJ-45?

You can use a standard RJ45 cable and joiner like this one (The joiner has female RJ45 ports at both ends)

Update: It appears that the cable i had been attempting to use has an extra layer of plastic protection around the connector, making it impossible to insert it into the outlet on the radio.
I'm going to attempt to hunt down a black/grey joiner as suggested:
