Thanks for that. Where are you taking your readings from? My car is currently stock and reads 515-520mm from wheel arch to center of wheel

Lowest point of rim across the axle to below wheel arch. Seems to be the going method of measurement.

Interesting. How many inches are your wheels?

So your height should be close to 515mm + (17/2)*25.4mm = 730.9mm. No lift yet, I guess?

Your right, no lift yet... all factory

Getting the TJM T3 bar fitted in the next few weeks and concerned on what King springs I need to use with the Bilstein 2" lift.

Best to ask the knowledgeable guys over in the suspension section or browse in the retail member section and call them directly. From my limited experience I can say that it all depends on how much additional weight you are planning to put in front of the front axle. If it is the full lot of steel bar, 2nd battery, winch, lights, aerial go with the HD srings. If it is only the bar a medium spring will be more comfortable.

Yeah. I have posted question in relation to my setup. I might go that one step more and call a retailer

I did a remeasure for the heights on the stock car last night as the tape I was using first time was crap.

My new readings from bottom of rim to wheel arch are:
                      both front 750mm
                      both Rear 780mm

My bar is getting fitted this week so it will be interesting to see how much the stock springs sag... hoping 5-10mm max

Yeah, those heights sound right for stock. My unloaded GX was 770mm front / 790mm back when new. Went up to 820/840mm after lifting initially but settled down by 20mm after 1'km. With the heavy bar on it is now at 785mm. Winch and lights might let it sag further. It ill probably need HD springs one day.

Good luck with your new bar.

I did my own T13 bar and it was ok. The only thing I would suggest is getting someone help you to lift it on and off when your lining up everything. I did not have to cut anything as infill panels where supplied in my kit. However I needed to paint them. The only thing I found to have trouble with was I needed washers for the infill panels under the bar. Cheers, mmm beer.

Here she is now loaded with winch, lights and aerial. A couple more dash switches to wire up and then she is finally ready to go.

The installed Runva winch with the low profile handle fitted the bar's interieur without any modifications. The handle is easy to reach and operate but still out of sight. The controller box sits next to the winch so that the wired remote could easily be connected although dash switches will make that redundant. The hook rests in a niche pocket inside the bar.
The lights are cheapish 96w ebay units with their steel brackets color coded manually.

Interested in your fitting of Runya winch post the bull bar. I have same set-up plus the full TJM underbody and would like winch. Know I will have to drop the front underbody pans (no problem). Were you able to mount winch w/o doing anything to bar? And, if so what model Runya did you fit?
