Prado 120 into 150 ----- Kings - TITAN - Still not finished .. I ordered the 120 WING KIT and also the generic wing kit to get the extra carpet ply and fittings to make sure I can do complete fit
NOTE: Make sure you check every NUT / ALLEN KEY BOLT I found number of loose ones that could possibly come loose over time. Other than that , yes they are SOLID but some of the finish is not perfect , like glue on one drawer handle leaver (simply cleaned off) and corner of lid needed to be filed smooth to make sure does not catch. But for the money they look read solid and all double roller bearing. Can update more if anyone interested -5 Photos

As mentioned , purchased the 120 and generic wing kit, cost more but wanted the extra carpet, ply etc.
Used all the brackets from the 120 Kit, some need cutting so simply pealed back carpet to cut metal or wood to fit.
Made the templates for the skinny sides from cardboard and left top forward panel to fill the gap in better--- I used that metal strip on the back of the skinny sides for strength, prob not required with ply cost like $3 so big deal.
with it all bolted together, the left drawer and fridge side does rub against the left forward wing kit, or the carpet is causing some friction. prob would have simply put a washer between the wing kit bracket and main unit, simply might have fixed it, but was not unbolting all the crap again as used loctite on all wing kit and main bolts of drawers... really dont want to remove it any time soon...
I also fitted Rear Tow bar same weekend as wiring went into the left panel , and also wired in a power feed to the left side that will be for fridge, usb etc like on the right that anderson is powered from 2nd bat. Also you can lift the right wing and still access the 240v socket just, so can power the fridge from this while on the move if you dont have all the additional wiring in place.. (another story of what I have done)5 Photos

Hello all I am fairly new here, have a mate with a Troopie and these Titan drawers, he does a lot of miles around the desert swears by them (his last trip was a 20,000km lap in 9 months).
So after all the useful information here I am biting the bullet and ordering a set tomorrow.
I have a silly question: has anyone tried to fit the slightly larger 1070x990mm drawers? I measure 1080 between my wheel arches with the seats removed and trim still present, there has to be a reason nobody fits the bigger units so I'd like to know...
Because I'm also heavily into electronics and I plan on designing a custom LiFePO4 or LTO battery system built into the frame of these drawers. I'd like to eek out every square inch I can if possible but I'm sure if the larger units fit someone would have done that.
That will be the topic of a future post using an EPEver Triron MPPT solar controller which I just started testing which can charge VRLA/AGM/Li-Ion/LiFePO4/LTO or any battery because it has a computer interface to program it. Amazing piece of kit which I hope will actually render obsolete a DCDC charger
