Hi all, picked up a TJM sump guard yesterday for my 150 V6 and it doesn't fit the petrol models. Very annoyed as I specifically asked the salesman if they fit the petrol.
The exhaust on the diesels comes from the drivers side of the engine and then runs down the drivers side to the rear. With the petrol, the exhaust comes out of the engine on the passenger side and then crosses to the drivers side just behind the transmission cross member. This is where the TJM sump guard hits against the exhaust. Looks like I'll have to take it back next weekend but I don't think they have another version. Might have to look at getting a Brown Davis guard.
Anybody got an underguard on a V6?
Cheers, Sam.
