appologies if it reads that i think williams install is incorrect was just a bit confused and bellived that something i was missing as i dont have the hose kit but all is clear now many thanks for help

I hadn't read it as such mate, but I know how looking at photos doesn't always explain whats happening out of sight of the camera lens.

It reads perfectly fine gympiebrowns. I'm glad your problem has been solved

When I ordered the airlocker, I had a choice between two compressors. With the compressor for tyre and locker, the hose/inflation kit was included. It states a separate part number for the hose kit in the retail price list. It's even listed separate to the compressor on the invoice I got from the workshop. I suppose this would explain why you didn't get the hose kit.

just got back from hydraulic place and got a T piece and hose fitting for $25 all is good now just the wiring many thanks ppl

Hey guys.....

Just wondering if anyone has installed the Compressor on the "Drivers Side" of the engine bay where those 3 existing studs are ??? I've installed a RACOR 2nd Fuel Filter + my Battery Isolator on the LHS where u guys have mounted your Compressor.....

MY only concern (other than room) is the heat from the exhaust manifold.....

Rob,

i had mine fitted by the local ARB guys utilising those three studs on the drivers side. I wasnt happy with their mounting and they also broke the clips off of the rear of the air filter housing. :evil: :evil: After a bit of one way discussion (me yelling at them)they coughed up for a new filter housing (cost them $800).

I then pulled the compressor out as the mounting plate they used was soo flimsy it vibrated around all over the place and the compressor was rubbing up against the Air filter housing. I made my own plate from a piece of scrap steel and then re-mounted the compressor a few centimeters further back towards the fire wall.

I use the compressor quite a lot and have found no issues with heat from the exhasust manifold.

I intend to finish up wiring mine this weekend but I'd like to know where is the best place to pick up ignition power in the cabin.
In the 120's it's easy to pick it up from behind the fuse cover but the 150's don't have that.
Any ideas??? I already have my UHF wired into the console power socket wiring so I don't want to add more to that circuit.
