I have tried TJM in Geebung, and its list price only. I know they have a deal at the moment with a Magellan GPS from their newsletter or for 4WD Monthly Magazine subscribers a recovery kit with both a Bullbar and Ox Winch package. AGES deals kills those offers. Anyone in Brisbane getting any good deals on Bullbars ?

I too have spent a lot of time pondering which bar to go with when i eventually get approval to buy. Last night whilst contemplating the pros and cons of each, i had a thought. Supposing i crash my car and the front end needs replacing, would the TJM bar be cheaper to replace because it's a complete bumber replacement, whereas the ARB would require both a new bar and a bumper that would be cut down again?

I don't really see it as being a big problem because i'd expect my comprehensive insurance to cover the cost, but it's still got me wondering...

Thanks guys for your input I have ordered the TJM steel bar t13 and I am getting it colour coded white I like the white on white like Cookiemonster's rig .I have also convinced the better half that with the steel bar on the front comes extra weight :roll: soooo I will need to get a 2" lift and upgrade the suspension :lol: :lol: It all gets done next week will have to post some pics when done.

Haha! Scoreeee tyres provide better traction and spotties provide better night sight... Just a couple more you can use to test the limits Anyway, well done mate, I think it'll be the first tjm white on white buildup here. Will be looking out for photos!

Ive got a TJM they just look better.
The ARB bars are getting a bit old the fog light area is the bit I like least I think it time for them to bring out a new bar as they look dated.

I think with the 150 the bar numbers are 50/50 however in the 120 days the TJM bar was fugly, seriously not good, u would not buy it. I think TJM have come a long way with bars and now their is nothing between the two, it would be personal preference or who gives the best deal!!!

Ofcourse ARB are better than TJM :!: :lol: :lol: Nahh, I suppose it all boils down to personal perference and yes, it sure is a tough decision to make.

Two awesome White 150 build ups. I like the colour contrast with Tasprado's TJM bar but I prefer Cookiemonsta's ARB bar for the overall shape and build. That's not a biased opinion , I went for a totally different look - ARB Sahara...

Do you plan on getting other gear? You might be able to work out a deal if you bought everything at either ARB/TJM like I did. As REV has stated, since the bumper isn't cut, you could probably make a dime or two out of it if you went for a TJM bar.

Hi Doug,

I looked at ARB & TJM & went for the TJM T13 outback steel bar. Very happy with it, especially as it is a "bumper replacement bar" no cutting required, as it was designed for the 150 series.

Hi Everyone
Just a quick question i am looking at gettin a bullbar for my new 150 series gxl in white and was wondering which way to go I am tossing up between the t15 deluxe bar in alloy from tjm and the painted white steel bar from tjm being the t13 deluxe bar but I have noticed that most people have arb bars is arb better than tjm ? Please help :?
