Its a nice bar and I like the fact it suits the lines of the 150 but is tucked into the car nicely, the ARB bars seem to stick out a long way. I got a price today from TJM of $2375 painted and installed..using existing fog lights and it has provisions for the parking sensors.

i had same feeling with my 120 grande when my bar was fitted. i played around with suspension settings but was never really happy, then thought i should play with the tyre pressures and that has made it feel like it used to. it was only a small 1-2 psi adjustment up in pressures that did it for me. maybe worth trying?

I have ordered the TJM T13, colour coded with sensors for $1950 installed with the inserts which I think is standard being they call it 100% bumper replacement. So I am happy with that price, it's a pain that the bar is on back order till the end of this month

Does anyone know what sort of drop the front of the car will have if I fit say a T13 full steel bar? I cant find anyone in Perth willing to lift a Kakadu so any drop is clearance lost.

I've just put one on a GXL and the drop was minimal, hardly noticeable. Nothing that a lift won't fix overall. I didn't take measurements as the lift is something I will do very soon after spending the day with Hutch, Richo, Fozzy and Kondo. I needed some extra clearance today.

Good to know it didn't drop much unfortunately a lift just isn't possible on mine.

                    • Kakadaz, you should ask Pete (Kondo) for his front measurements as he is in a Kakadu with a TJM T13 Steel hanging off of the front...

Easy done mate, just make sure you get him to do the centre of the wheel to the base of the guard. Pick a clip etc underneath that you can both use as a reference point. I know Pete has new rims on his so if you go centre wheel the measurement will be spot on.

                          • That's a big price difference ($500) for the TJM bar between QLD and WA.

fourbyfour, I was quoted $2250 for my (yet to be obtained!!!) GXL, so might be worth pressuring for a better price. I am in Melb so freight might be an issue. The 4X4 show is coming up in Melb soon so will wait and see if I can do better.
