Thanks guys, now I know. I weighing up the cost v's the hassel in getting my mate who is a spray painter to paint the bar. Not sure if its worth it since they want $300 to do it. Compared to me buying the bar from ARB picking it up and dropping it off to my mates paint shop trhen having to drop it back to ARB to be fitted.

Agree with KAKADAZ, paint. Unfortunately it took 4 weeks for my local TJM guys to get all the "painted" bits to me. But at the end of the dayI did get a full TJM/OX recovery kit and an Aus touring atlas out of them as compensation.

I like that, it will certainly get you around the forward vision laws in some of the states.. However I am stuck with my old Barrett.

I am about to put my TJM T13 on in the next couple of days and I have a Barrett Auto Tune antenna, when I get the bar on will take some measurements and let you know. The Barrett measures about 95 across the base but 110 about 200mm up. Yours seems a big foot print, we are talking HF radios aren't we??

Not exactly sure if this is what you are after Croozr, but the minimum clearance between the bonnet when it is being raised and a line drawn vertically from the rear of the aerial mounting hole (ie closest point to an aerial if one is fitted, which I don't have........yet) is approx 30mm.

Just wondering if any one has the vertical clearance from the top rail antenna mount centre (on a TJM 13) and the bonnet when being opened? After a long wait the delivery is hopefully next month and working out the radio gear, considering a Codan 3040 on the front rather than a 9350 on a Kaymar wheel on door bracket.

Smart bars are very safe very practical and make sence but I just find they arent overly attractive (bit like a bag of dropped pies).
My T13 gos on early next week I will post some pictures up when done.

Does anyone have a photo of a TJM 13 bar colour coded white, i have seen a Sahara TJM white bar, but the deluxe on will not have the black rubber to brake up the white and i am unsure if it will not look to bland. If you could post the photo it would be appreciated.

I was told that the fog lights would have to be replaced with the ARB bar - Thats Ok. But after paying a small fortune, it was a bit sad to be handed the originals in a box and to find no replacements in the bar. Only $80 to add them but it would have been nice to have had them included. By the way, had it spray painted white 040 and installed a Warn 9000.

Im now looking at installing spots instead of the fogs if I can find a good way of mounting something.
