And if you wired the fluoro correctly you could use it for a light, making it even more useful! I remember thinking about how to do it with a long trough shaped mirror to focus the light.
Forerunner of the LED light bar perhaps?

Ha - I remember as a kid seeing them and hearing somewhere how good they were for bumping off roos - obviously my knowledge of them was strained.

Phew what a read took me forever to get to the end but I doubt this will be it.

I'm showing a bit of age here but do any of you guys remember another plastic type of bar that was around in the early 90's or maybe it was the 80's (the year not the series)? These bars were horizontally fitted by memory, across the front. They were a round tubular structure & the idea was that if anything hit you roo or other would just be bounced off. Maybe these were the original smartbar?

    Vic
ps I'm still new here and I'm having a hard time figuring out if some of these posts are for real or what. IMHO, it seems a complicated way to get some responses.

It seems Jasen has the World Health Organization on his side as well......

    Last paragraph

They include boosting laws against speeding, drinking and driving, and mobile phone use at the wheel, as well as providing pavements, underpasses and decent road lighting, better public transport and improved design with soft vehicle fronts that reduce impact damage.

    PS - welcome to WA.....
