Thanks for posting those up. I must say that your shots of the bar give a much clearer picture of what the bar looks like on the car. You should sack the professional photographer and just use your shots.

Unlike the others I don't think it looks too bad at all especially the white. I would need to see one in the flesh on the car and of course we need to talk about that price
Presume you will have them represented at the major 4x4 shows ?

Thanks for the pics, but I'm still not in love with them. Can a cradle mounted winch still be fitted behind these?

Regardles of what the thing looks like on the vehecle, what is it realy doing? Apart from protecting the font of your 4by and fending off road kill, one of the main things you get from a front bar is more ground clearance and a better approach angle off road, but I'm not seeing this at all.
            Just my thoughts.

I personally think it looks decent..
And It does the Job it's intended to do far better than the steel & alloy bars do without adding half the weight to the Vehicle.
Obviously you are going to get your typical 4Wd die hards that will have the preconceived idea that it must be metal otherwise its Gay
and not "Strong enough'. I believe the statistics speak for them selves for its intended purpose..
If it was available in the "Prado Silver" I would be ordering it today..

How many people must show interest in a specific colour in order to do a run of a specified colour ?..
Can we start a new thread for Colour requests on the Forum Maybe ??..

Re: Behind the Scenes Shots of SmartBar's Toyota Prado 150 range

From a photogs point of view your "ahem" professional is humorous to say the least.. Crap studio with an amazing array of very poor backdrops and setup! And WTF is he doing with that lighting?!?!?!?!?!
There is gonna be some serious photochoppin going on after the shoot!
He can prob upgrade his camera body sometime soon too... its getting a bit old. God I hope you didnt pay him too much..

I dont mind the bar, wouldnt buy one myself but it looks 1/2 reasonable overall IMO.

                *Edit*

After just going and looking at the finsihed shots.. Yeah wifecallsmegrumpy is right, sack your tog!
No offence but his work looks crap... Bar looks out of focus on the RH Front, Lights on are more of a distraction from the bar.. Shadows in the shooting area would have been nicer if reflector was used to take them out (clearing up the fuzzy look as well).
The shots on top of the hill and against white are really not that conductive to selling.. more someones idea of a 4wd in its element that dont really show off your bar..

As said your images are way better!!

If you need a hint on a decent studio to do your next images I can put you onto a couple that will do it right and No I am not affiliated with them.. Just seen their work and studio.. (Both are in ADL city).

                Just a 2cents worth..

No-one has asked the obvious for us. Is it winch capable as most poly bars have not been to date

                  Regards

I see.. how did you know they were a few years old? I've never seen any smart bars on the road - they either blend in that well or just aren't popular around Melbourne...

                            Hi..
If you look at My location you will see I live in Regional S.A
These Falcons do a lot of driving on the Stuart Highway. (Lots of BIG REDS in our area)
I am very familiar with these vehicles I know the bars have been on these Falcons for more than two years..
And the bars still look decent..

That probably explains why you like them so much... It's starting to grow on me already! Wouldn't give up my Sahara bar for it but if this new laws get passed, I know what I'll be getting next...
