  • Cleaning Door Seals

Has anyone got some handy tips for cleaning my door seals.
My rear door seal makes the most annoying mouse squeak when the day warms up a little.
I had my handy diagnostician sit in the rear "dicky" seat and hold the door open a fraction while I drove about to work out that the door seal was in fact the location of my squeak.

After giving the seals a good clean, or in lieu?

Mr Sheen on the rubber seals and also on the door frames.
            Spray on, wipe off.
            Too easy.
Mr Sheen is best - not the generic no name brands.

I gave them a quick clean with the AJAX spray and wipe I had at home before heading to the supermarket in search of Mr Sheen himself. The clean killed the squeak (Which existed on my way home from work). Correct me if I'm wrong, but Mr Sheen also works to repel dust for at least a little while???

Im pretty sure it does it for furniture. Not so much I guess for excessive dust caused by having too much fun

My Old Man used to polish his whole car with Mr Sheen and it looked great, inside and out.

Update - Mr Sheen worked for a day or 2. I cleaned it with WD-40, its been squeak free for about a week and a half.
