my car came from the factory with the replacement flaps... which is interesting as there were a few other brand new prados... which didn't have them!?

Today's little mod
Was sick of stone damage to the sills. Stones would travel around on the back tyres, release downwards onto the running board, then bounce up and chip the paint on the sills. Some might say, "toughen up", I say fix the bloody problem. Hope this does......Originally posted by wooley View Post

Dear Colleagues ,as I pointed before with this shape of your little mud guard you'll receive a headache, because your doors will rub against the mud guards, the better shape is on my photo.

I already had a small piece of double sided tape in the right spot as a packer to prevent this. Works so far.Comment

Tried a couple of Toyota dealers in the Brisbane area armed with the part numbers posted above, but no success (Sorry mate, those part numbers don't come up). Selling dealer has not heard of the issue / fix. Has anyone managed to source these new 'flaps in the Brisbane area? Just driven the full length of the Tanami and happy to report GR mudflaps and my little front pieces worked perfectly. Hate to think of the hammering the standard setup would have taken.
The rear doors have a whisker of clearance on the front pieces because of the small double sided tape as packers.Comment
