Tailshaft Clunk

Righteo, dropped car off this morning. Explained tailshaft is making a delayed thud when I come to a stop and also sometimes grabs/binds when I take off too. Standard response was "the propshaft gets greased and bolts tightened at log book 10k service".
Not too convinced with that response, so I asked about replacement warranty shafts as per 120 & 150 prado's. Was told "it wasn't necessary and I have a 10/12 build which already has an updated shaft".
Still not happy but figured i would ask someone else when i pick the car up ie servcie manager.
Picked the car up, no one else available to speak with. Went looking for my sales rep but was his day off. So i thought benefit of the doubt and will just give it a go. Was no less 20mins driving the car and felt a delayed tap when stopped. Furious!
Guess I need to build a case file with them to get some proper resolution. It's on then! I certainly will. The dealer is on the way to my office so will have plenty of opportunity.
PS it did feel tighter and a bit better, but it won't last long.2012 150 | GXL | D4D | Auto | Graphite | TJM T13 | X-Ray 220 HID | Genuine Towbar | Engel 40L

It's BS Jayden pure and simple....new shaft costs big $$ so they try and fob you off. NOTHING else will fix the problem, it will always return after greasing. Print off this thread and ask why others get a new shaft, be firm with them but don't loose your temper. You can always look in this thread for somone who found a Perth dealer that has changed it out. I've clocked up over 30,000kms since my change and not a clunk to be heard.
Good luck!2010 150 Glacier White GXL D4D Auto

Ray they are the same group including Taringa however the service I have received at Kedron, especially night shift (drop the car off at 17:00 and pick up next morning) has been easily the best. I think Albion is too busy for its own good.My 150 build - http://www.pradopoint.com/showthread.php?27423-A-Random-approach-to-a-Bluestorm-150-GXL-D4D-automatic

Yep night shift at Kedron, not sure who owns it. I think it also helped that I get the car serviced there.2010 150 GXL Ebony Diesel | ARB Delux Bar | ARB Bashplates | GME 3450 UHF | Bilstein/Dobinson lift | SA LED Lighting 185W Spotties | Bridgestone D697LT | Wet Seat covers | LeighW's Voltage booster | Tin75 Pet barrier | 3D Mats'n'boot protector | Onboard ARB CKMA12 Compressor | Rhino Pioneer Platform | Roadsafe Recovery Points | Airtec Snorkel

Picked the car up today with the new tail shaft. When I took it in a few weeks ago, I believe they greased it and put the new tail shaft on order. The problem clunk was much better, but still noticeable. Today.....sweet as bro.2010 150 GXL Ebony Diesel | ARB Delux Bar | ARB Bashplates | GME 3450 UHF | Bilstein/Dobinson lift | SA LED Lighting 185W Spotties | Bridgestone D697LT | Wet Seat covers | LeighW's Voltage booster | Tin75 Pet barrier | 3D Mats'n'boot protector | Onboard ARB CKMA12 Compressor | Rhino Pioneer Platform | Roadsafe Recovery Points | Airtec Snorkel
