Hi everyone,
I was up at Landcruiser Mountain Park a few weekends ago and was doing a bit of steep downhill work. I have the D4D in Automatic. I Found that being in Low Range and 1st Gear with downhill assist on, the engine still got a rev up and ran away a bit to quick for my liking. Has anyone put a switch in to lock up the torque converter. If so did you use a kit for this and what has your experience been? Is this an expensive modification to make and is there any risk of damage to the Auto Transmission?
