I think there is something wrong. The lag time you report is excessive. When I bought my diesel auto gxl last year one of the reasons I picked Prado was the lack of turbo lag compared to the Jeep GC and Territory I had tested. These had lags of about a second or less. If you put the boot in my Prado has no more than a fraction of a second.

Sounds exactly the same as I'm getting Ivano. I have heard heaps of people say that a wind booster module takes care of a lot of that. Pretty sure they are only a couple of hundred bucks. Certainly cheaper than going for the chip... tho that is still on the list of things-to-do for mine. Already have the 3" exhaust.
Mine is about to go in for its first service and I will be mentioning the poor economy also. Was really good for the first 2 tanks but lately I've only been getting about 1100kms to the tank. Not towing anything, and 80-90% highway use as we are out of town a bit.Comment
