  • Auto trans oil level

Alright, so I have searched the forum, searched Google and have got nothing.
How do you check the transmission oil level on the auto 150 series D4D?

I know it's sealed for life, but I want to carry out a trans service but need to know how to check the level.

    Thanks in advance

Plug in the scan tool, get it to the correct check temp, open the plugs fill till it drips out.
    40-45 degrees.

You will find the temp varies a little depending which model you look up.
        There's not much in it.

I used an ir temperature gauge instead of the scan gauge.

Cheers guys, yeh the scan tool is the most accurate but I understand it's not the most critical point.
I believe you can use a scan gauge rather than a genuine Toyota scan tooll
