Hi all. I am setting up my ScanGauge and am wondering which of the two temp sensors mentioned above provide the most useful information especially when pulling loads. Advice would be welcome as to what are members use.

Probably both. The TCT will fluctuate http://www.pradopoint.com.au/showthr...emperature-D4D
Nice video of how the Torque Converter works

The two auto transmission temp gauage options on the Scangauge 2 seem to be either the auto transmission "oil pan" temp sensor, or the auto transmission torque converter temp sensor...and after displaying them both simultaneously for a while I have now decided to only display the Torque Converted temp, as its seems to react quicker and also seems to read higher than the oil pan temp in many instances from what I have seen, so to be on the safe side, I now permanently display the Torque converter temp (and if I want I can just push one of the gauge display buttons and have a look at the oil pan sensor), but I find its mostly either close or just below the actual torque converter temp....so that's what I've decided anyway....auto transmission torque converter temp is constantly displayedSE Qld: GX 150GD Auto, (Feb'16 build): TJM T15 steel b bar, 9,500lb TORQ winch, TJM s steps, Rhino Pioneer Platform (42102B 1928X1236mm), front recovery points, Wynnum towbar, P3 brake controller, TNN Underbody guards, UHF, TREKtable & LED striplight, Custom Fridge & Drawers, Waeco CFX50, 9inch illuminator 160W LED spots, 40mm lifted Dobinson Suspension (Zordo's), ScanguageII, 30 Sec Wing Awning
