Lubricating Propshaft UJ's

I was doing my regular service yesterday, which includes greasing the prop UJ's. All of them are fine except for one (I think it was the front UJ on the rear prop) where it is impossible to get at the grease nipple. Has anyone else had this problem? Apart from removing the prop, how else can I lube the joint in place?

Did you try moving the Prado foward or back a bit to rotate the shaft and make accessing the nipple easier?

Get a little Supercheap grease gun, they fit in all the Universals.

Yip, but the UJ gap is just too small for the grease gun nozzle to fit in. Apparently Landrover owners have this problem a lot and they end up grinding a small amount off the nozzle to flatten it a bit. I might look for a sacrificial nozzle to butcher.

Mine fitted in. Just had to rotate. Saying that my head on the grease gun is pretty small.
