Hi Brougham, I’m sorry for any delay and any inconvenience it has caused, but I am also not sure about what kit you ordered?

Either PM me or post up on here and I will follow it up.

My orders were delayed for a couple of weeks because, if they come in, I have to fill Trade and Wholesale orders first, but again, I’m not sure what kit you are referring to.

If you have not got your order by now, it has been overlooked ( no excuse if it has been ) and if you PM me your details, I’ll find out why I missed it!

Also, I am here till 9 PM just about everyday, so I am also not sure why you couldn’t get me by phone.

E-mails are a totally different thing, I have a bad habit of not replying to them all and have no excuse for that.

Tim usually is pretty responsive, he was about to bring a new model out a few weeks back so
maybe has been holding back on sending orders till they are up and running.

I can completely agree with people leaving things until the last minute. Just today I had the wife of one customer call me up and complain that if I dont squeeze their car in between now and friday then I'll be responsible for them not taking their annual Xmas vacation that they've taken every year for 25 years because their new car wont have a brake controller. Cars I finished today have been booked in for the last 4 weeks.

Seriously... 25 years of the same trip and you haven't learn to plan ahead yet!

Perhaps ask them when they picked-up their new car? - I'm sure you will find it wasn't in the last week...

Nope... had it awhile. I fitted the dual batt system to it 3 months ago lol. They mentioned the brake controller then and I'm pretty sure I warned them to book in for xmas

re the Scangauge reading, remember our discussion last week. I have a scangauge and volt meter wired direct to both batteries and mine always reads 0.7v higher than the scangauge

Pardon my ignorance as I am an electrical retard but does the redarc SBI12D basic set up cater for starting on either battery? That is, say the main battery goes flat, can I start up on the aux battery or do I need another component?

Spent last night reading through the 30 odd pages here and Im not sure if Im more confused or informed.

I have spent years playing with fast cars and this is my first 4WD so Im a little out of the loop when it comes to what is available.

I have a 2015 D4D and I want to fit up dual batteries, uhf, tow controller, lightbars in one hit. I would like to incorporate volt meter, usb out puts, 12v outputs, and 240v output, dedicated hard wired engel lead and an anderson plug for solar charging as well as one for output.

Any information/links on the latest and greatest options for some of these things would be much appreciated.

Would also be great if anyone could just confirm the basic gear I need on the dual battery side.. ie; good quality tray and battery (part number) that avoids bending aircon, redarc smart solenoid (part number), booster fuse..

I've just installed a Intervolt DCC Pro, (bought from Opposite Lock), seems pretty good.

It has everything I need, smart dual battery control, solar input, a wee display/programmer.

Best of all it is made in WA!!!
