Just got my duel battery system fitted to my 150 Series GX, with a redarc BCDC1220 3 stage battery charger & 2 12V points in the rear with duel reading volt meter.
It was to be fitted with a Optima D34 battery but when I picked it up it had a Century NS70X.
Thay said sorry that they will fit the D34 if I still wanted but had none there at the moment.
Then went on to say that I am probable better off with the NS70X.
All my research pointed to the D34, with being cranking & deep cycle & quicker recharging, especially with the BCDC.
I thought the NS70X was just a cranking battery & not as good for repeated recharging when it repeatedly runs low.
My use is for 1 & 2 night max overnight stays camping & will be running a 40lt engel & some LED lighting.
Some times we don't drive after arriving till going home.
Use a camper trailer for longer trips with 100ah bat setup, & I will be doing a fair bit on corrigated roads.
Looking for advice & suggestions on my battery choice.
(Not a auto sparky or any sought of sparky by far)
PS.... all monies difference is soughted.
