Key locked in car

Strange,.... when my wife leaves her bag with her 150 VX key in it, in the truck, and I try to lock the vehicle with my key in my pocket (from outside touching the front door handle), it just won't lock, just beeps at me until I remove my wifes handbag from inside the truck.

That's normal, or u can lock it with the button on the key, that also works.
