Removing Third Brake Light

Does anyone know how to remove the third brake light in the rear spoiler? I gently used a trim removal tool to see if it would lever out but had no success. Cheers

I am not looking to remove it permanently, only to pop it out so I can fit a brake light flasher module. Still need help removing the light from the spoiler, any help appreciated!?!

Why?

Keen to fit a brake light flasher module - anything to help make my vehicle more obvious to dodgy drivers is a good thing in my book! :-)

only to pop it out so I can fit a brake light flasher module.

From what i can see from a very vague diagram that i am looking at (Toyodiy) you have to remove complete spoiler as the light is held in by 2 x screws from behind and not a pop-out!

If you opt to take spoiler off then make sure that you do not stress the hose for the washer jet as it looks like a total p.i.t.a if you was to pull it off by mistake.

Maybe try to trace the wire at the connector plug where the wire harness enters the door?

I can't help on wiring as i own a 120 & not a 150!

Seven really but no one cares about by and of.

I know I posted up ADRs elsewhere and these obviously don't apply but check your local rules. No need to attract unwanted attention when lasers prevent repeat offences.
