UHF Radio Current Draw When Off

Hi,

Has anyone noticed their UHF radio drawing a lot of current when turned off? I've installed a Uniden 8060 (control and LCD on microphone). It's drawing 230mA when turned off. I wired the radio directly to the battery thinking the current drawing would be very small like my old GME unit.

The current draw works out to around 5.5Ah per 24 hours.

Don't worry, forgot to zero the clamp on meter.
