  • Battery box in rear of car

Hi, I’m not sure if this is the correct place to post this but here goes.
I’ve purchased a kickass agm battery box with a 120ah agm battery, wiring loom and a battery tray to suit. I purchased this for my old Gx but never installed it and have now purchased a 2019 gxl 7 seat. I have installed wiring loom to a point just behind the second row of seats with the intent to put battery behind the seat. My problem is I have now discovered that where I want to install the battery on the folded down third row seat is not strong enough to screw into. Has anyone got any ideas of how to install the battery box? I don’t want to remove the rear seats as the battery will probably be removed from the vehicle 90% of the time.

Might have to add a false floor. Then remove it for the 90% of the time you don't need it.

Thanks for your reply. Yes it looks like a false floor will have to go in. Chhers

I did both: Removed the third row seats (to save 40kg of unnecessary weight) and then installed a new floor over the steel pan.
