Forum Price
$895 for standard module
$1395 for Super module
$395 for EGT defence regardless of module.
Difference between super and standard is super has boost control and the fuel mapping is slightly more advanced. Super also has switching inside the car, the standard modules can be optioned with switching but is not standard.

All of our kits are sent out tuned. The only time they are ever altered is if they go into a DieselSmart dealer and ask for a custom tune. We can, however alter them for specific customer needs.

that's good. do your std tunes that are in kits you send out via mail have timing advance built in?

no, anyone can fit our module. takes about 10 minutes the hardest part is running cables through firewall to hook up the switching.

yes that one came into us with an aftermarket exhaust already. we didn't fit the exhaust and that's why the dyno sheet is like that. This was done quiet some time ago and we didn't get a chance to dyno it before hand, the percentage is based on average results we see out of standard cars. As we are also a local performance shop (petrol and diesel) some days we might have up to 7-8 cars that we need to get on the dyno so our mechanics can get really tied up with tuning of other cars and we don't always get time to run it up beforehand.
In regards to crank angle sensor, they are also plug and play but we don't connect to this sensor on every car.

DM would you be comfortable selling these imported modules over the counter or mail out? ie would you be comfortable for the standard user to hook up to the crank angle sensor or do you recommend fitting by dealers?
I understand the injection plugs are provided however are the connections to crank angle sensor plug and play or wire in?
Seen at time 1:16, the dyno I was referring to was this one http://www.youtube.com/watch?feature...cMNil-I1U#t=9s

Surely the mod wouldn't shut the thread down because of a healthy debate that is about to get revealing???? .... That's exactly what forums are all about!..... FACTS!
Informative and civil debate with out the flaming or bagging of course
As chipit said! Quote: No need for a fight. As people know I will always tell it as it is.
Cheers

hey i'm easy either way, just be a bummer to see this thread closed. i'm not a mod or anything so probably not even my place to mention it

At one point i agreed with Ages
.... But i also like the idea of it all staying in one place like CQ_Prado suggested!
Cheers

maybe i asked the wrong question...But if all the facts are contained in one place its easy for me to decide..

i was just thinking about it going off topic from the original posters orginal post.
If two different product manufacturers want to go head to head to decide who has the better product, then maybe "my engine chipping experience so far" doesn't really capture that spirit. maybe a new topic with the title Chipit Vs Supercarperformance.
I'm all in favour of competition and i'm keen as mustard to see a side by side comparo.
Just a time and place is all. At the end of the day just my 2c worth.
