Hi there I think I have gone through all the threads associated to 150 Diesel Engines, but can't find anything mentioning these units. I am in the process of installing one of these units into my 150 Prado. I have used one once before on a Mitsubishi Canter 4WD Truck with success, this vehicle is still going strong 14yrs later.

I like the idea of the accumulator feeding oil into the turbo "for up to 5mins after the engine stops". Plus it also gives the added filtration of the oil going to the turbo.
The reason for fitting it to the Mit Canter engine was I had a complete Turbo Failure, after a rebuild of the Turbo due to leaking seals. Turbo rebuild was done by reputable company specializing in Turbo's. As a Caterpillar trained mechanic I have rebuilt Cat Turbo's, and am aware of needs for lubrication etc.
