    Thanks for that Adrian and quick reply,
    Just love PP,
    my vehicle is an 06 PRE D4D motor, not the full bottle with mods on the motor ,just change oil and filters really ,when i read some of the stuff the guys do on PP my mind boggles, it really does,
    Having said that would you think my engine would benefit with one of them thingys ? Got 185 ks on now seems to be running fine,

      If I were you I wouldn't bother with a catch can, although with 185k km on yours you need to get the intake manifold cleaned (which is a remove job not just spray down the intake). While it is off the engine, get the injectors overhauled and replace the glow plugs. Injectors on these should be overhauled at around the 150k mark and the glow plugs every 100k. Glow plugs on these have a habit of cracking the ceramic tips and the pieces can do a lot of damage to valves, pistons and the turbo. When you do the intake, make up a gasket for it out of shim steel without a hole in the centre and then you will be sure it won't be attributing to the gunk build up in the intake.

        Thanks Jason, remaining question: are you aware of an existing connection to connect the oil drain to the sump?

          My turbo doesn't have a waste gate? - I never knew that. My brain just go slightly bigger thanks to PP

          Am I right in thinking that catch can's are legal as long as they are sealed? ( am thinking of installing one when the injectors are replaced and I have a shiny clean intake)

            Don't connect the catch can into the sump. What you catch includes condensation and you don't need that. Just drain it regularly. I capped that port off and grabbed the largest syringe I could from the Chemist and simply suck out any yuck.

            A catch can like the MH Provent is sealed and is fully compliant. Some available on the internet have a breather on them and those are not legal.
