The Eco light is just a light. It has no affect on anything else. Don't believe me, turn it on and cover it up with tape so you aren't tempted to drive to it and nothing will happen.

As I suspected, even the manual just says it is a light that lets you know you are driving economically. The ODO switch (holding it in for 2 secs) is just to turn off the light function. I read somewhere that unichip can give you 2 different tunes on the 2.8 and you use the Eco button to switch between the tunes. Otherwise it's just a light in the dash.Comment
