I am still averaging 11 L / 100. It does tend to drop to about 8 or 9 on freeway. But with my usual stop/start daily routine, my average has been only 11... Which is a tad higher than what I wanted it to be. I have had the car checked with Toyota (including the dpf)... And they think 11 is ok for "average" daily use... Of course how one defines "average" is an interesting exercise!
Perth based, mostly suburban driving, some freeway. 9.4 has been the average the last 2 tanks, 20k on the clock. Did a highway trip down south 6 weeks ago for 8.3 return - distance around 550km
5000km. [on car computer] Ave 10 around easy Adelaide suburbs, 9 on longer runs. Standard GXL Auto apart from towbar (bike rack). Tyres at 36PSI, BP fuel.
10.7l for me Perth based mostly city driving. If I'm stop/start freeway driving I am averaging less than 10 which is cool. If I need to accelerate and stop frequently at higher speeds I'm into the 11's. Best I have done is 6.5l/100km for a short stint on Forrest Hwy. Have done 12500km with only a 2 inch lift mod.
Thanks
2018 150 Series Crystal Pearl Prado VX 2.8l. 2 inch King springs and Bilstein shocks, Airtek TJM snorkel.
Just done 1000ks and mine is 12.2l 100, mostly city driving and a bit of highway. Car is stock standard so i'm not real happy with that. Hopefully it improves
I've been using the fuel lite app for the last 6000kms, vehicle is about to have its 10k service. Average overall is 9.81L per 100km. No towing just a mixture of town and highway. All standard with ARB bullbar.
I have had my 2.8 ltr GXL since December 15, I have done 25000km. I get around 1400 k's to a tank, when I refill it only takes around 130 ltrs, the dash average fuel consumption says doing 9.2ltrs/100 k's
