The fuel additive F10 was recommended by my vehicle servicer.
Any good - or waste of money?

Had never heard of it until now. Googled it. Seems to be the equivalent of Fuel Doctor. Fuel Doctor is $10 per litre cheaper on FleaBay.

If you suspect water or algae in your tank(s) then I guess you would find value in using this product. My jury is still out on this one.

Nulon Diesel Injector cleaner. 20L on sparesbox for around $130 when they have % off sales.

What are you trying to achieve with the fuel additive?

Looking to kill any algue in the tank? Looking to add a lubricant for your injectors? Looking to clean the injectors?

If you're looking to kill algue your tank really needs removing and manually cleaning, our new high tech diesels won't put up with dirty fuel resulting from diesel bug and algue.

If you want to add a lubricant Toyota have developed a "diesel fuel conditioner" for this. Use every second tank of fuel is their guide, a 500mL bottle treats 500L of diesel. Which is actually 1,000L of fuel through your tank.

If you are looking to clean your injectors once again Toyota make an "fuel system cleaner". They recommend using this once every 40,000Km if used in conjunction with their conditioner.

I have been using the conditioner for a few months now in my work ute, it made a big difference to injector noise on cold start up. It had 190,000Km on original injectors. Now with new injectors I will continue to use it and their cleaner when advised and see how long I get out of this set (genuine Toyota injectors).

I've been using Liqui Molly Diesel injector cleaner with anti knock and Liqui Molly Clean and Boost

and I have been using chemtech and stay with BP fuel Reckon its the way to go
