Hi guys

Yesterday stopped to put some water for the windshielf...

I noticed that red tape around insulating material. Never noticed before.
Do you have it as well on yours (1GD-FTV, europe) ?

Does not look "original" stuff. I am wondering if during last service there was a service bulletin on that...
Or maybe it is from day 1... did not notice.

That doesn't look factory at all but it's only heat insulation material.
I'd still be asking the last person that serviced your car as to why they put it there.

RBJET is correct. not looks like factory fittings and someone has used electrician's tape.

Black or silver tape you may not even have noticed it, red stands out like dog nuts
