Hey guys,
I've searched, but nil on the 2.8 on a whistling sound coming from the engine at low revs yet... It can be cruising or up to around 1800RPM, but generally when the car is coasting or only has light throttle applied. If I punch the accelerator while this whistling sound occurs, it cuts out and only comes back once the Revs settle down again. I am thinking turbo - but what? For some reason, it also seems to be worse turning left... It sounds a little like the squeal of the brakes as they get old, but the brakes have nil to do with it - applying brakes/ pumping them etc has no effect whatsoever.
Cheers for any suggestions (it's a 2016 GXL and the dealership's a bit of a hike away so would like to see if it's a simple thing).
