DPF Injector

Hi,

My 120 is getting a bit old so I'm looking for replacement options. With most newer cars having DPF's I've been doing a bit of reading and have read of oil dilution in some engines with DPF's. My understanding is that this happens due to the engine injectors being used to inject fuel on the exhaust stroke to make the exhaust burn and hence heat the DPF. I've also read of systems that have a separate injector in the exhaust.

Which system does the 2.8L prado engine use?

the 1GD uses a separate injector , have a look at the system diagrams here - http://toyota-club.net/files/faq/15-...engine_eng.htm
