another known but less common fault is the failure of the oil pump drive gear. Happened to my neighbours 120 D4D , and in the 10 seconds that the engine was running without oil pressure it was completely buggered unfortunately.

I believe I missed out on the 110's as mine is a 4th September 2013 build -but I am hoping they actually replaced them a little earlier than stated as mine is the first of the 'face lift' model.
Did you have any blockage on your oil sump pick up at the time of your failure?

I have just seen that this a 150 thread! Oops! Mine is a 120 2008. Some towing but not when it failed or for 5000kms beforehand! 080 pistons are an improvement but my engine lasted 9 years. No oil blockage or oil pressure issues!
