Re: Diesel Fuel Economy
I had these things installed for mates rates so I don't know how much are RRPs.
The genie was a tad louder at idle and on full throttle. It has nice note and nil resonance during cruise.
Troy from Tunit had the car on the dyno and gave it a few minor tweaks. We saw probably around 20% gain in torque at ~2000rpm. However it was very hard to capture that on the dyno due to automatic gearbox. On paper we had around 18% gain from around 2500rpms. If you have a Genie exhaust then it's best to get the Tunit since Troy has this map.
The Tunit and exhaust gave it a bit more grunt for take off and overtaking. It's more pleasurable to drive but it's no where near the twin turbo v8 in the 200 series
ops:
The fuel efficiency is excellent and overall it's well worth the extra cost.
