  • Filters plus Injectors etc..

Team, time to look for cheaper part (not inferior) as the 150 gets closer to 100k mark. I was looking at the price of this filter and it ranges from 80 -100+! Not associated with any reseller just looking to get some reasonable prices....Recently surfing the web came across these few options, https://www.westernfilters.net.au/co...o-3-0l-2006-on, looking at the manufacturer website it looks they are a good reputed manufacturer..http://www.coopersfiaam.com/en/index.html. or https://www.alliedbearings.com.au/fs...ra-fuel-filter, https://www.onlineautoparts.com.au/p...__manufacturer http://www.sakurafilters.com.au/auto...ommercial.html. Thoughts?

Similarly for cabin filter the price was around 60, here it is https://www.westernfilters.net.au/fp...su-land-rover/. or http://donaldsontoolbox.com.au/searc...0L-COMMON-RAIL that has few other filter as part of the kit and can bought for the price of one Toyota genuine filter!

As the 100k mark approached does this later 2014 also need the injector replaced or they can go longer? I read earlier that even with newer injectors 100k was a good time to swap them out! Is that still valid or not?

More to come as I discover what parts are required at each 20k service point that can be had for same quality but better price!

    Thanks in advance.

I'd be getting there readings before you change them out for no reason. If they are in spec, then i wouldn't bother. Just check them every 10k that's all i do and change if they go out of spec. Big expense if not needed. My first set lasted 180,000 and were just in spec, 2nd set only lasted 32,000 before they started failing. So just keep an eye on them.

I have read at PP that 100k is a critical point to the life of injectors. Will have it checked out soon. Thanks.
