I'm looking to get a bit more towing torque from my 2019 Prado. I've been told the ECU can't be remapped so my only option is a chip. Does anyone have any experience with the Diesel Power Australia chip?

Whoever said you couldn't remap it is telling porkies—no issue with remapping them. Most chips do little more than raising fuel rail pressure, leading to other problems down the track. A dyno-tuned ECU is far superior in any circumstance and safer than a one size fits all chip.

Thanks. I was told my ECU version isn't supported when I went to buy a DIY mapping module. I'll ring around a few shops that do the tune on a dyno and see if they can do something for me.
