Had trouble with mine not starting once whilst I was out bush, refused to start or turn off the green light, it just kept flashing. The missus had opened a back door just as I was pushing the start button, so that may have caused the problem. I locked the vehicle with the fob, then unlocked it, and the vehicle started straight away after that. No problems since.

    Yowie.

I don't know about that Alan, those errors could occurr if the switch was causing the 'loss of comms'.

Body control module can usually be reset by disconnecting battery then reconnecting however this will then usually trigger a limp home mode.
The clutch microswitch on the mine 150s up here gives us no end of trouble and is usually bypassed i would think ther maybe a similar swtch under the brake pedal on the autos

Hi all. Don’t want to start a thread for the same issue.
father in-laws prado, which I just bought off him, has just come up with this error a few days before I was supposed to take
it. It’s at the diesel mechanics now, and getting worked on tomorrow.

Has there been any proper resolution? A new BCM?
